A restaurant that serves authentic, traditional cuisine. Chef Ali Marsa, assisted by restaurant owner Evert Verburgt, has been cooking the most delicious Indonesian dishes for some 44 years.

Cilubang's rijsttafels ('rice tables') are renowned far and wide, even beyond the Netherlands!

Cilubang occupies a historic 16th-century building in Amsterdam, in Runstraat in the inner canal ring, between Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht.

The restaurant has an appealing, intimate, warm and inviting ambience. Dinner is usually accompanied by soft jazz background music. Or sometimes... Indonesian gamelan music. The Indonesian atmosphere is enhanced by the splendid Wajang Golek puppets adoring the walls of the restaurant! In a word, a successful symbiosis of Amsterdam and Indonesia... for almost 30 years now.
